Deploying hermes-agent from template: 404 error when accessing the site

When I try to deploy hermes-agent using Zeabur, it shows as successfully deployed, but I get a 404 error when accessing the website.

I tried using Zeabur AI to fix it, but it didn't work. Could you please help me look into the cause?

I tried three methods:

The first was deploying to Zeabur via the official template (shows a 404 error).
The second was using the Agent's fix, but the fix failed and the service crashed.
The third was trying to deploy from GitHub, but it still didn't work.

Hello, we have checked your hermes-agent service, and it is actually running normally (it has been running stably for over 4 days without restarts, and the logs show that all 77 MCP tools/skills have been loaded successfully).

The 404 error you are seeing is not an issue with Zeabur—it is the hermes-agent application itself returning a 404 on the root path / (the server response header shows Python/3.13 aiohttp/3.13.5, which confirms that the request did reach your application).

The hermes-agent API is not located at the root path. You need to connect via the hermes-agent client (e.g., MCP client, API calls) instead of accessing the root URL directly in a browser. Please refer to the official hermes-agent documentation for specific usage instructions.
