Hello, I paid for an Aliyun Bangkok 2C 4GB server on May 15, 2026. Due to a change in my personal plans, I no longer need this server and would like to request a refund. The server has barely been used since it was provisioned. Could you please help me confirm if I am eligible for a refund and guide me through the process? Hello,

For your first refund on an Alibaba Cloud server, you can process it yourself via the Dashboard:

Dashboard → Server page → Settings → Request Refund.
Select refund destination: Zeabur Account Balance.
Confirm, and the server will be released immediately.

Refund Calculation:

Based on the proportion of unused days:

Monthly server fee ÷ 30 = Daily cost
Refund = Monthly fee × (Remaining days / 30)

You activated it on 5/15, and you have used it for about 6 days, leaving approximately 24 days. Therefore, you can get about 80% of the amount refunded to your balance.

Important Notes:

For Alibaba Cloud-type servers (Aliyun / Tencent / Volcengine / Huawei), each user can only use the "self-service refund" option once. If you purchase a server in the same category again and wish to refund it, it will require manual review, and "no longer needed" is not considered a valid reason. Therefore, we recommend you confirm before proceeding.
Please remember to back up your data before requesting a refund (since you mentioned it is not yet in formal use, this should not be an issue).

If you are blocked when clicking the Refund button (e.g., a prompt saying it has already been used or requires review), it means you have previously refunded an Alibaba Cloud server. Please reply with the specific situation, and we will assist you further.
