It would be great if Zeabur added an advanced “Custom Nameservers” or “External DNS Management” feature for domains purchased through Zeabur.

I understand why this isn’t exposed normally, since changing nameservers breaks the managed Cloudflare integration, one-click bindings, and automatic DNS handling. But for advanced users, having a self-service option would be very useful.

A possible approach could be:

• a “Danger Zone” section,
• strong warning/confirmation prompts,
• disabling Zeabur-managed DNS features afterward,
• and requiring manual DNS management from that point onward.

Support recently had to manually update nameservers for some of my domains through OpenSRS so I could move them to my own Cloudflare account, which is what inspired this request.

I’ll likely continue buying domains through Zeabur, and while most can stay on the default setup, some projects need external DNS management flexibility.
