About the Role

We're hiring a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help build Zeabur's business development engine from the ground up.

You'll be one of the first people potential customers interact with — helping us identify promising opportunities, understand customer needs, qualify prospects worth pursuing, and turn market interest into real, valuable pipeline.

This isn't a script-reading role. It's a role that requires you to quickly understand the product, understand customers, communicate clearly, and help the team evaluate market opportunities.

This role isn't just about talking to traditional dev teams. We're also reaching a new wave of potential customers: enterprise teams exploring how to use Vibe Coding to improve internal processes, or figuring out how to use AI to accelerate new product development. You'll help us identify these opportunities, understand where they are in their journey, and determine whether Zeabur can be their infrastructure partner from experiment to production.

You'll work directly with the founders and core team to build Zeabur's early sales motion together.

What You Will Do

  • Follow up on inbound leads from the website, content, events, partners, and community
  • Proactively reach out to teams and companies with potential to become Zeabur customers
  • Qualify leads based on team background, use case, urgency, technical requirements, and buying intent
  • Schedule meetings, product demos, and follow-up business discussions
  • Maintain CRM and pipeline data — keep it clean and up to date
  • Work with the team to optimize outbound messaging, outreach processes, and lead quality
  • Synthesize market insights from customer interactions and feed them back to product, growth, and business teams

About You

  • Strong Mandarin communication skills
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, execution-driven, and willing to follow up consistently
  • Organized and able to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
  • Interested in AI, startups, SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or developer tools
  • Willing to learn technical concepts quickly and explain them clearly to customers
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment

Bonus If You Have

  • Strong English communication skills
  • Experience as an SDR, BDR, in Business Development, Partnerships, Customer Success, or other outward-facing roles
  • Experience with SaaS, B2B software, developer tools, or cloud products
  • Familiarity with basic concepts like deployment, databases, Docker, APIs, and GPUs
  • Experience with outbound prospecting, lead qualification, or CRM tools
  • Experience working on digital transformation, software adoption, or AI implementation projects with traditional industries or enterprise customers
  • Familiarity with the communication processes, decision-making logic, and common objections enterprises face when adopting new tools, cloud services, or AI solutions
  • Understanding of how enterprises use Vibe Coding, AI tools, or automation workflows to improve internal efficiency or incubate new products and services

Compensation will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. The total compensation package includes competitive salary, equity-based compensation, and comprehensive benefits. For candidates based outside of Taipei, compensation may be adjusted based on local cost of living. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
