Technical Account Manager

About Zeabur

Zeabur is the infrastructure platform built for the Coding Agent era.

As AI agents become a key part of how software gets built and deployed, we're building the platform they deploy and run on — cloud infrastructure designed from the ground up for agent-native workflows.

From automated provisioning and instant deployments to self-healing infrastructure, Zeabur gives both human developers and AI agents a single, seamless interface to get products from code to production faster.

Our product line includes the Zeabur platform and Nuphos, an AI agent built for infrastructure operations. Nuphos connects to a team's existing cloud environments and helps engineering teams with day-to-day ops work — incident investigation, cost optimization, and compliance audits.

Backed by top investors and trusted by thousands of developers worldwide, Zeabur is a small, young, fast-moving team headquartered in Taipei and expanding into Silicon Valley.

About the Role

At Zeabur, the product is the best salesperson. Users get started on their own through the free plan. When an account's usage starts growing, more resources get bound, and teammates start joining — that's the moment. That's when a person needs to show up.

We're hiring a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to own the full acquisition journey from awareness to paid. You'll identify high-potential users from product data, reach out at the right moment, help them get started, and take them to paid and expansion — with direct ownership of revenue growth.

This role is half technical, half commercial. Half your time is spent reading data, designing experiments, talking to users, and driving conversion. The other half is hands-on: helping users get things running. Technically, you should be able to deploy a service yourself, read technical docs, and have in-depth conversations with developers.

There is no SOP to copy. Which signals are worth chasing, when to reach out, how to take a free user to paid — you'll define the playbook together with the founders and core team. Results are the method.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor product usage signals (PQLs), identify high-potential users and teams, and reach out at the right moment
  • Lead new users through activation: bind resources, complete the first task, and get into daily usage
  • Drive conversion from free to paid, and from lower to higher plans
  • Design and run acquisition and conversion experiments: content, community, events, and signal-based outbound
  • Turn needs, friction, and success stories from user conversations into product priority recommendations
  • Codify what works into repeatable playbooks: signal definitions, outreach scripts, and activation flows

Who You'll Work With

  • Engineering teams running production systems: SREs, DevOps, platform engineers, and infrastructure leads
  • Teams whose infrastructure spans AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, and other clouds, and who are evaluating AI agents for day-to-day operations
  • Startups and enterprises dealing with real ops problems — on-call incident response, cost optimization, and cross-cloud migration
  • Teams that need to meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, and similar compliance requirements, and want to automate audit findings
  • CTOs, VPs of Engineering, SRE/Infra leads, and founders who care about infrastructure security and efficiency

About You

  • Willing to own the number: put your name on a revenue target and be accountable for the result
  • Able to read product and funnel data, and decide who to talk to, when, and what to say
  • Technically self-sufficient: can read technical docs and talk fluently with developers
  • Proactive and experiment-driven — able to invent a playbook in an environment without a standard process
  • Strong Mandarin communication skills, organized, and able to advance multiple users and experiments at once
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment

Bonus If You Have

  • Strong English communication skills
  • Experience in Growth, Sales, TAM, DevRel, or Customer Success at a PLG/PLS product (developer tools, SaaS, or cloud)
  • Experience building a GTM motion, sales motion, or growth loop from 0 to 1
  • Familiarity with basic concepts like deployment, databases, Docker, APIs, and GPUs
  • Experience using product analytics tools (e.g. PostHog, Amplitude, Stripe) to interpret user behavior
  • Skilled at using AI tools to multiply your output

Why This Role Matters

Traditional sales finds people first, then convinces them to use the product. At Zeabur, the product gets people using it first — you show up at the right moment.

You'll define what the right moment looks like, and validate which signals actually convert into revenue. Every playbook you build becomes the foundation of Zeabur's future GTM team.
