We're excited to announce Domain Registration — you can now search, purchase, and manage domain names directly from Zeabur, without needing a separate registrar.

Previously, deploying a project on Zeabur and connecting a custom domain meant juggling between a domain registrar, a DNS provider, and the Zeabur dashboard. Now, the entire workflow lives in one place: find a domain, buy it, and bind it to your service — all within seconds.

What's New

Search and Purchase Domains

Search for available domains across 9 popular TLDs — .com, .net, .org, .io, .dev, .app, .co, .me, .xyz — and purchase them instantly. Domains are registered through OpenSRS and automatically configured with Cloudflare DNS for fast, reliable resolution worldwide.

Pricing is transparent and displayed upfront before you confirm your purchase, with no hidden fees or markup.

One-Click Binding with Auto DNS

Purchased domains can be bound to your services with a single click. Zeabur automatically creates the correct DNS records — no manual CNAME or A record configuration required. Your service goes live on your custom domain immediately.

This also works seamlessly with Zeabur's automatic SSL certificate provisioning, so your domain is served over HTTPS from the start.

Full DNS Management

Complete DNS record management is built into both the dashboard and CLI. You can add, update, or delete records for the following types:

• A / AAAA — IPv4 and IPv6 address records
• CNAME — alias records
• MX — mail exchange records
• TXT — text records (SPF, DKIM, verification, etc.)
• SRV — service locator records
• CAA — certificate authority authorization
• NS — nameserver delegation

This makes Zeabur a complete DNS management solution — you can point subdomains to external services, set up email routing, or configure any advanced DNS setup without leaving the platform.

Auto-Renewal

Never lose a domain by accident. Enable auto-renewal to keep your domains active without manual intervention. You can also manually renew domains at any time or adjust the renewal period as needed.

Registrant Verification

ICANN requires registrant email verification for all new domain registrations. Zeabur walks you through this process, and if you miss the verification email, you can resend it or update your contact information directly from the CLI:

FAQ

Can I transfer my existing domain into Zeabur?

Not yet — but it's on our roadmap. Domain transfers (both inbound and outbound) are planned for Q3 2026. Once available, you'll be able to transfer domains you purchased elsewhere into Zeabur, or transfer Zeabur-registered domains out to another registrar.

Getting Started

1. Create a registrant profile — go to Settings → Registrant Profiles and fill in your contact details (required by ICANN for domain registration)
2. Search for your domain — navigate to Domains → Register Domain, enter the name you want, and browse available TLDs with pricing
3. Purchase and bind — buy your domain and bind it to any service in your project with one click
