Introducing Zeabur Forum

Dear Developers,

We're excited to announce the Zeabur Forum — a dedicated space for discussions, support, and knowledge sharing. This marks a big step in our mission to build a more open, inclusive, and vibrant Zeabur community where anyone can join the conversation, regardless of whether they use Discord.

Transition Timeline

The Forum is now in beta and we'd love for you to try it out! Here's how the transition will work:

• For the next month, both the Forum and Discord help channel will be active
• Feel free to post questions in either place — we'll be monitoring both
• Our team will prioritize answering Forum posts to build up the knowledge base
• After the beta period, we'll wind down the Discord help channel

We highly encourage community members to help each other! The more we collaborate, the stronger our community becomes. If you see a question you can answer, please jump in — your expertise helps everyone.

What Does This Mean for Existing Discord Users?

Don't worry — we're not abandoning Discord! Here's what to expect:

• We'll continue answering questions during the transition period
• The general chat channels remain open for discussions, sharing projects, and connecting with other developers
• Only the dedicated help channel will eventually be retired in favor of the Forum
• All existing threads will remain viewable for reference

• Mark issues as resolved directly from the Forum
• Ability to reopen resolved issues if problems persist

🔔 Notifications

• Subscribe to any thread to receive Discord DM notifications when new replies are posted
• One-click subscribe/unsubscribe toggle on each post
• Stay informed without constantly checking the forum

🎨 Template Marketplace

• Browse and search template requests from the community
• Request templates with optional rewards for contributors
• Track request status (Open, In Progress, Completed, Closed)
• Tag system for organizing requests by category

👤 User Roles & Identity

• Role badges visible on posts (Employee, Moderator, Team, Developer)
• Clear identification of official Zeabur staff responses
• Seamless authentication with your existing Zeabur account

✍️ Content Management

• Edit your posts and replies after publishing
• Delete your own posts
• Posts can be marked as resolved/closed by the original author or admins
• Closed issues display a clear notice and disable new replies

• Available to all users, not just Discord members
• No Discord account required to ask questions or participate
• Supports anonymous posting for privacy-sensitive issues
