Introducing the New Referral Program

We've completely redesigned the referral reward system from the ground up. The old model — a flat $5 reward whenever someone you referred upgraded their plan — is officially retired. In its place is a brand-new 5-tier commission system where the more people you refer, the higher your level climbs, and the greater the rewards for both you and your friends.

Why the Change?

The previous referral system only covered one scenario: plan upgrades, with a fixed $5 reward. That made sense in Zeabur's early days, but as our product line expanded to include Dedicated Servers and AI Hub, the old system couldn't keep up.

Recently, we've noticed a growing number of creators and KOLs organically promoting Zeabur's Dedicated Servers and AI Hub across social media. But when their followers purchased these products through referral links, the referrers received nothing — the old system simply didn't support these product types.

That's clearly not fair. Referrers bring real value to the platform, and they deserve to be rewarded accordingly. So we decided to build a new referral program from scratch — one that's more equitable and far more rewarding.

The 5-Level Referral Challenge

The new system features 5 tiers. As the total amount spent by your referees grows, your referral level automatically increases, along with both your commission rate and your friends' discount:

You read that right — at Lv5, your commission rate is 100%. Whatever your friend pays (the pre-discount amount), you earn the same as commission. This is virtually unheard of in the industry, and it's our way of showing maximum appreciation to our top referrers.

What's Covered

The new referral code works in the following scenarios:

• Dedicated Server purchases: Your friend enters your referral code at checkout to receive a discount
• AI Hub top-ups: Your friend enters your referral code when topping up their AI Hub balance

These are Zeabur's two fastest-growing product lines right now. Whether your friends want to spin up their own servers or use our AI model APIs, you earn a commission from every purchase.

How It Works

The process is straightforward:

1. Get your referral code: Head to the Referral page. You can copy the system-assigned code or customize it with a memorable name.
2. Share it: Send your referral code to friends through any channel. When they purchase a Dedicated Server or top up AI Hub, they enter your code on the checkout page.
3. Both benefit: Your friend instantly receives a discount based on your current level, and you earn a commission that's automatically deposited into your commission wallet.

Commission Wallet

Every user gets a dedicated commission wallet. Whenever someone completes a purchase using your referral code, the corresponding commission is deposited into this wallet in real time. You can check your wallet balance on the Referral page at any time, and convert it to Zeabur account credits with one click to pay for your own services.

The Referral page also provides a complete referral history — showing each referred user's details, the product they purchased, the commission amount, and the date — giving you full visibility into your referral performance.

Legacy Records Carry Over

If you had referral records under the old system, don't worry — they're automatically counted toward your level progression in the new system. You won't start from zero, and none of your previous efforts go to waste.

Rules

To keep the referral program fair, please note:

• Each new user can only use a referral code once in their lifetime
• Referral codes apply to first-time Dedicated Server purchases or first-time AI Hub top-ups
• If a user has previously purchased a Dedicated Server but never topped up AI Hub, they can still use a referral code for their first AI Hub top-up
