LNbits

LNbits is a free and open-source Lightning Network wallet and accounts system. It lets you create multiple wallets, manage payments, and extend functionality through a rich plugin (extension) ecosystem.

Getting Started

1. After deployment, visit your configured domain to access the LNbits dashboard.
2. The Admin UI is enabled by default — use it to configure your funding source and manage extensions.
3. Create your first wallet and explore the available extensions to customize your setup.

Funding Source

By default LNbits starts with a VoidWallet (no real Lightning backend). To send and receive real payments, configure a funding source such as LND, CLN, or LndHub through the Admin UI under Server > Funding Source.
