Do I need a subscription plan to use a dedicated server?
No, you do not need a subscription plan to use a dedicated server. However, we recommend the Developer Plan to unleash the full potential of Zeabur — features like backup are only available to Developer Plan subscribers. Developer Plan users also receive priority support from staff, while free users can get help through the Zeabur forum without a guaranteed response time. See Plans for details.
I only want to host small websites — do I need both a plan and a server?
You can deploy services on a dedicated server without a subscription plan. However, certain features such as backup are exclusive to the Developer Plan. If you want full access to Zeabur’s platform capabilities and priority support, we recommend subscribing to the Developer Plan alongside your server. For more information, see Community & Support.
