Zeabur provides free credits to all users, allowing you to try the platform without paying.
How Credits Are Calculated
Free credits are virtual credits that reset monthly, used to offset resource usage on shared clusters. The amount varies by plan:

For paid plans, the “free credits” are the credits included in the monthly fee. For example, the Dev Plan’s US$5 monthly fee includes US$5 in credits — if your resource usage stays under US$5, no additional charges apply.
What’s Covered
Free credits only apply to shared cluster resource usage, including:
- Memory usage
- Network egress
- Persistent storage
Not Covered by Free Credits
The following are not deducted from free credits and require separate payment:
- Dedicated server fees — Monthly rental for dedicated servers is billed separately.
- AI Hub credits — AI Hub uses its own credit system and requires separate top-ups.
When Credits Run Out
Serverless (Free Plan)
When monthly free credits are exhausted:
- All services are automatically suspended.
- You’ll receive a notification about the depleted credits.
- Services resume automatically when credits reset next month.
- To restore services immediately, upgrade to the Dev Plan or add credits.
Paid Plans
When the included monthly credits are exhausted:
- Overage is automatically charged to your credit card or prepaid balance.
- If the charge fails, services won’t be suspended immediately, but you’ll receive a payment reminder.
- Prolonged non-payment may result in service suspension.

Do unused credits roll over?
No. Free credits reset monthly. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
